Meet Samantha
I am the Founder and Director of Burke Music Academy. I am a classical singer and violinist currently living in Atlanta, Georgia with my colorful South-American family. I am also an adoptive mom of 3 rambunctious kids and a sassy cat.
I am blessed to have an active performing and teaching career spanning over a decade. I am passionate about creating music with creative individuals at every level. I am constantly seeking new ways of imparting my learned knowledge and breadth of lived experience to students of all ages and backgrounds through healthy technical foundation building and performance. My overarching teaching philosophy is to create a learning environment that enables objectively learning about healthy vocal production based on the teachings of Manuel Garcia and Mathilde Marchesi, and foundational violin and piano performance performance practice techniques based in critical thinking.

Founded in 2020, BMA serves students of all ages through music lessons, educational outreach, workshops, and performance opportunities.
Our mission is to offer conservatory-level musical instruction in a modern way to students at all stages of development. We realize everyone is exploring their musical goals for different reasons, and we are here to confidently support your endeavors.
Our curriculum-based instruction is structured to suit various learning styles with visual aids, supplemental videos, online resources, check-ins between lessons, and practice guides. We are based in Atlanta, Georgia, and provide lessons virtually to students across the United States and its territories.
We are an academy of music with a conservatory-style curriculum, and holistic approach to teaching music. We believe in fostering the whole artist from the earliest stages of development to advanced musicians. Our programs are innovatively designed to support virtual and in-person lessons, workshops, and performances.
What sets us apart, is our dedication to our students beyond their lessons. All of our students are incredibly passionate about their studies and endeavors. Together we create a community of like-minded musicians whose mission is to impact the world around them.

Song Studio Class (Virtual)
1.27 4:30-5:30PM
Our studio class is an opportunity for BMA students to perform excerpts from pieces they are working on. All are invited to this low-stakes community event to give and receive feedback from peers. This virtual event is free and open to the public. The class will also be live-streamed on our Youtube channel @Burke Music Academy.
