Sunday, April 13th, BMA will be represented at the first-ever Shuler Shops Expo! We’re offering free group vocal workshops, giving young singers a chance to showcase their talents and further refine their skills in an encouraging and supportive environment.

SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
BMA has partnered with Music In Common (5013-c) in Atlanta, GA to offer a free songwriting workshop to musicians from 8th grade to early college. The goal is to bring together diverse communities in or at risk of conflict. As a global non-profit, Music In Common curates experiences of facilitated conversation and music that make it possible for common ground to be discovered.
Free Lunch and snacks provided.
Participants’ group song will be recorded and published at a later date on the Burke Music Academy website with rights owned by Music in Common. Participants will be invited to perform the song in BMA Pop-Up Concerts in the 2025 season.
